Dan,

Although I've mentioned the Chapter frame APIs and authoring tool before, it's probably worth mentioning that I've updated them to conform with revision 3 of the draft CTOC/CHAP frame standard. I've also switched to the latest version of the Jens Vonderheide API, which was recently published on Sourceforge by Christophe Bouhier.

The chapter tool (http://sourceforge.net/projects/id3v2-chap-tool) can add CTOC & CHAP frames to tagged or untagged audio files.

However, it would be really good to see a working player out there.
