For example, the track audio may be 44.1kHz stereo, while the narrative data would sound fine at 11.025kHz mono. Also, since I don't see it mentioned, what if the track audio is encryped via an AENC frame? I presume you wouldn't want this audio data to be encrypted as well, but in either case it should be noted in the spec. The application relies on JMF and unfortunately some JMF installations can have problems with MP3 playback. I'm not familiar with JMF on MacOS X so the only advice I can give is to check your JMF installation with the diagnostic Applet (http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/2.1.1/jmfdiagnostics.html) and perhaps re-install JMF 2.1.1e. I've not had these problems with JMF 2.1.1e and XP. Chris >Le 19 avr. 06 ? 07:19, Dzone a ?crit : > >>Well done! >>Do you use JMF? The idea is to provide an audible alternative to existing ID3v2 text frames, allowing a listener to navigate through the menus and listings of a media player by sound alone. The proposal is primarily motivated by the need to provide improved user interfaces for the visually impaired, but the feature might also be popular with other users and useful for media players with limited (or no) visual displays. I'd be very interested to hear your comments and whether you foresee any applications in your area. Best regards, Chris -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
