There is also the extended header flag for when a later tag contains information that should update or replace unique frame information contained in a previous tag. I don't know that there is a standard method for handling repeated frames that should be unique but have different values. I would read the first frame found and ignore any duplicates of that frame. This probably varies in different implementations. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrea" To: Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 12:04 PM Subject: [ID3 Dev] Multiple frames and ID3v2 > im reading the id3v2.4.0-structure.txt file but i have a doubt. is it > possible insert more than one frames with the same name(for example > TIT2) but difefrent value? and what is the behavior of the reader when > there are multiple frames with the same name? > > thanks > a.m. > > > -- > Email.it, the professional e-mail, gratis per te: http://www.email.it/f > > Sponsor: > Refill s.r.l. - Il risparmio ? fai da te! If frames defined as unique are found in the present tag, they are to override any corresponding ones found in the earlier tag." i dont have find in the id3v2.4.0 specifications how i can define a frame unique. is it possible to define a frame unique? thanks andrea moro --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: id3v2-unsubscribe at id3.org For additional commands, e-mail: id3v2-help at id3.org From meyers at music.mcgill.ca Tue Oct 24 16:22:02 2006 From: meyers at music.mcgill.ca (Owen Meyers) Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2006 19:22:02 -0400 Subject: [ID3 Dev] mood tags Message-ID: does anyone know of any software that implements the mood field (TMOO) of the id3v2.4 spec? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: id3v2-unsubscribe at id3.org For additional commands, e-mail: id3v2-help at id3.org From andrea_moro at email.it Thu Oct 26 11:52:15 2006 From: andrea_moro at email.it (Andrea Moro) Date: Thu, 26 Oct 2006 20:52:15 +0200 Subject: [ID3 Dev] Example tags Message-ID: <454103DF.5090904@email.it> where i can find some "example tags" to test my app? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: id3v2-unsubscribe at id3.org For additional commands, e-mail: id3v2-help at id3.org From andrea_moro at email.it Tue Oct 3 09:04:00 2006 From: andrea_moro at email.it (Andrea) Date: Tue, 03 Oct 2006 18:04:00 +0200 Subject: [ID3 Dev] Multiple frames and ID3v2 Message-ID: <452289F0.2070307@email.it> im reading the id3v2.4.0-structure.txt file but i have a doubt. is it possible insert more than one frames with the same name(for example TIT2) but difefrent value? and what is the behavior of the reader when there are multiple frames with the same name? thanks a.m. -- Email.it, the professional e-mail, gratis per te: http://www.email.it/f Sponsor: Refill s.r.l. - Il risparmio ? fai da te!
