[ID3 Dev] ID3 Testing certification or testing framework

There has been alot of ideas regarding a new version of ID3 recently but 
it seems to me the key thing required is a certification scheme whereby 
existing applications (tagger/players/burners) could be certified as 
being id3 compatible (you would probably need different levels of 
compatability). If such a thing was introduced i would hope there would 
be some commercial organisations willing to partially fund it as the ID3 
must carry some kudos. Certification of this would reward applications 
that try to adhere to the spec and should eventually lead to an 
improvements in compatability.
