AW: AW: [ID3 Dev] Why does Itunes write null terminated strings (v2.2/v2.3) ?

Am I going mad, for a particular file Ive been looking at I'm now seeing 
these square characters actually in Itunes (Itunes 7/Windows), as if 
Itunes isn't expecting them !
