Brian,
Thanks for adding the zip file - and I think it is still necessary. While
Dan's fix makes the icon visible, IE still treats it as a bitmap and you
can't save it as an icon file. Between the two fixes, it should work great.

Well I'll be damned. I stand corrected that the bug could only be fixed
in IE. Though it is still an IE bug, Dan has come up with a way to fix
it. I don't think the zip link I added is necessary any longer, right?
